Energy self-sufficient house in Schmölln
In Schmölln, the VR-Bank Altenburger Land was the first financial institution in Germany to build an energy self-sufficient house (EAH). On 20.07.2016, my company installed the large 9120 liter buffer storage tank from Jenni (CH), which stores the house’s large heat requirement. The majority of the heat requirement is covered by a solar thermal system with a size of 48 square meters.
